Making Fudge for My Birthday!
Today is my birthday! Oy—getting older is no fun, but no one’s getting younger. When I was younger, I used to always say, “just another year toward being 30 and old.” Now that I’m almost 30, it’s a bit scary. But growing older is just an adventure, and I hope to have many, more healthy and productive years ahead of me!
In honor of my birthday, my family and I will be making FUDGE. Do you remember being in the kitchen and making fudge with your mom? I hope you treat your kids to some great fudge-making memories as well.
This recipe is super easy to make and it’s a lot of fun!

Super Easy Fudge
Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups milk chocolate chips
2 cans prepared, store-bought dark chocolate frosting
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Butter a 8 x 8 inch square pan.
In a saucepan, turn the heat to low and melt the butter. Add the chocolate chips and let them melt. Stir constantly until all melted.
Remove from heat. Add the prepared chocolate frosting and chopped walnuts. Stir into saucepan until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate 5-6 hours or until cool and firm.
Remove from the fridge and cut into desired square amounts. Refrigerate any uneaten fridge pieces.
