My name is Zoe, and I am a full-time freelance writer and editor. I write for parenting magazines and I also write for children. I hope to become a published children’s author one day soon.

I’m a creative chef–which means that I enjoy creating new recipes by combining ingredients that I know and love. My family says I have a gift with seasonings. I rarely–if ever–measure when I cook. For the purposes of this blog, I will measure all of my ingredients, so that you can replicate it at home.

I believe that children, even those picky eaters, will be more willing to try new foods and new ingredients (healthy ingredients) if they have a hand in helping cook that food.

Most of the recipes that you’ll see on this blog have either been passed down in my family, created by me, or modified to suit my taste and my family’s tastes.

I’d love to hear from you, so feel free to drop me a comment!

    Zoe,

I have tried the Sherbert Punch although without the condensed milk and you are right it is always a winner. I used to make it for the children I worked with at a homeless shelter and we always had good times. Great suggestion! I will have to try it with the milk the next time.

What an awesome honor to work with children.
